Eleanor Jackson joined DCL in 2013 and became a partner in 2025. She previously worked at Markson Thoma Literary Agency and InkWell Management. She is a graduate of Colby College and the Columbia Publishing Course. Her list includes authors of fiction and non-fiction in a wide range of categories, including literary, upmarket and commercial fiction, memoir, essays, food, science and history. She loves narrative nonfiction with a strong voice and outsider perspective, and novels with great storytelling and deeply imagined worlds. She looks for writers who span genres and take risks with their work. She lives in Brooklyn NY with her family.
