Julia Kenny joined Dunow, Carlson & Lerner in 2013. Previously, she was an agent at the Markson Thoma Literary Agency, while also serving as director of foreign rights. At DCL, she represents a broad range of writing, including award winning novels and short story collections. She has a soft spot for dark, literary fiction, and is on the lookout for writing that immediately draws her in, bold voices, “unlikeable” narrators, and stories that linger. (Please note, she very rarely takes on MG or YA.) A graduate of Sarah Lawrence College, she grew up on an island and lives with her family in Brooklyn.
