Nicki Richesin joined Dunow, Carlson & Lerner in 2021. She began agenting at Wendy Sherman Associates in 2017. She represents a wide variety of categories. In nonfiction, she is interested in bold contemporary voices, extraordinary untold stories, and investigative journalism. She focuses on pop culture, biography, memoir that often blends personal narrative with cultural analysis, food writing, and narrative nonfiction projects. She loves the arts, particularly film / tv and theatre, and is eager to work with writers interested in moving to traditional publishing. In fiction, she is looking for voice- and character-driven novels, especially upmarket or literary fiction that resonates emotionally. She is proud to represent a list that is diverse, queer, and eclectic. As an editorially focused agent, she loves to help develop and nurture debut writers. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
